  1. I would recommend buying either a Storm Tropical, Ebonite Tornado, or Brunswick Power Groove.

  2. If he’s a midskill (intermediate) bowler, I would definitely recommend the:
    AMF Reactive Angle
    Brunswick Avalanche Solid or Pearl
    Brunswick Sidewinder
    Brunswick Power Groove Reactive Urethane
    Columbia Hi-Flare Reactive Scout
    Hammer Vibe Cherry or Blue
    Hammer “Raws”
    Storm Jolt
    Storm “Tropical Storms”

I am an advanced bowler, but use some of these “intermediate” bowling balls whenever I bowl league or tournaments with very dry lane conditions. Hope this helps!

You can find these bowling balls at bowling.com, bowlingballsales.com or bowlingball.com. They all offer free shipping within the US, which saves tons of money!
